Associate

Rachael Creagh

Rachael is an Associate of mds law who specialises in property (residential and commercial), commercial law, trust and estate planning, relationship property and employment.  Rachael is also experienced and routinely involved in civil litigation, dispute resolution, and estate administration – including Family Protection Act claims.

Rachael brings extensive experience across the private and public sectors to the table, from her time in private practice here in New Zealand to her time with a large UK multinational company and separate UK Government department.

Rachael enjoys working closely alongside and together with her clients to help them achieve results that best serve their needs.  To do that she makes sure that she fully understands her client’s position, preferred outcome(s) and the circumstances they face.  Rachael keeps her clients fully informed of all options available to them and makes sure she clearly understands her client’s expectations, however they might change and develop over time, to ensure she continues to meet and exceed them.

Rachael’s client’s best interests are her priority and she always strives to deliver the best service she can for them.  Rachael is always approachable and honest with her clients which she finds helps her to provide robust and practical advice – even if that is sometimes hard for a client to hear.  It is important to Rachael that she is available to her clients whenever they need her, as she finds a quick call or email outside business hours will often resolve an issue quickly, prevent difficulties further down the track, and alleviate stress and pressure for her clients.

Rachael has two school-aged children, and they all enjoy spending time together as a family engaging in various outdoor activities. They love mountain biking, kayaking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors. Originally from the West Coast, Rachael makes an effort to return there as often as possible, as nothing compares to the Coast on a fine day.
